1. This notice explains how we at Swier obtain, use and disclose your personal information, in accordance with the requirements of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPI).

3. Swier designs, manufacture and distribute interior and exterior household, decorative items as well as personal products and gifts. Our products are available for purchase from our website and from a number of wholesale distributors.

We collect and process your personal information mainly to contact you for the purposes of understanding your requirements and delivering products and services accordingly.  For this purpose, we will collect contact details including your name, surname and address of your choice to deliver the purchased products via courier.

6. We collect information directly from you where you provide us with your personal details.  Where possible, we will inform you what information you are required to provide to us and what information is optional.

7. Website usage information may be collected using “cookies” which allows us to collect standard internet visitor usage information for the sole purpose of analysing user behavior on our website and improving the browsing experience for our users.

10. We may disclose your personal information to our service providers who are involved in the delivery of products or services to you eg couriers. We have agreements in place to ensure that they comply with the privacy requirements as required by the Protection of Personal Information Act.

All payment processing is being routed to a secure service provider (Payfast) that are authorised to collect payment on our behalf. Payfast has various technical security systems in place to ensure secure processing of payment.

16. You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. To do this, simply contact us by email us to online@swier.co.za  and specify what information you require.  We will need appropriate identification to confirm your identity before providing details of your personal information.
